Originally from Herefordshire, England, United Kingdom, more than five million pedigree Hereford Cattle now exist in over 50 countries. Today, Hereford cattle dominate the world scene and are found in the temperate parts of Australia where they make up the largest proportion of registered cattle. They're well known for the muscularity and their longevity, living beyond 15 years. When matured, males can weigh up to 820kgs and females 550kgs.
