Friesian (Holstein) cattle are found on most dairy farms throughout Australia. They eat predominantly grass and are excellent milk producers, but not too good for meat production - due to their skinny rumps. According to 'Holstein Australia', this breed makes up about 70 per cent of Australia’s 1.6 million dairy cows.
